WHO’S THE BOSS? Well, it’s finally you! So grab up to 6 friends and get ready for the craziest fights in our fast-paced asymmetrical multiplayer game. Featuring wacky arenas and a variety of unique bosses and vikings that are yours to command! Did I mention that we’ve built it with online gameplay in mind? Expect the unexpected.


Strike fear in your enemies as a mighty fortress or keep them on edge as an angry slice of bread, it all depends on how bossy you feel today! The meanest mechanics? The baddest? The silliest? Your choice.


Team-up and play as vikings, combine your powers against the evils of the bosses in a plethora of ways, each viking being unique and contributing differently to the huge list of combos we’ve prepared for you!


As a gameplay developer

  • As one of the two programmers of the game, developed the core structure of the game
  • Implemented the mechanics of the vikings, the bosses and arenas within a growing and flexible framework
  • Worked closely with the artists to fluently integrate the assets and the animations as they were being created


As a render programmer

  • Developed a custom, networked FX manager which handles everything from dust particles to explosions
  • Implemented the in-game HUD and camera effects, including strobes and scene transitions
  • Wrote and maintained various materials such as watery mesh displacements, lasers and on-player effects


As a network programmer

  • Implemented all of the above within a server-client framework, even when the game is running locally
  • Maintained an authoritative server, keeping all mechanics synchronized throughout the network
